The reality is that fat people are often supported in hating their bodies, in starving themselves, in engaging in unsafe exercise, and in seeking out weight loss by any means necessary. A thin person who does these things is considered mentally ill. A fat person who does these things is redeemed by them. This is why our culture has no concept of a fat person who also has an eating disorder. If you’re fat, it’s not an eating disorder — it’s a lifestyle change.

I feel the winds of change blowing on my hair. here is my brainstorm:

  • cut off ~6 inches and dye it black, swampy purple, or bright orange
  • leave it the same length and dye it black
  • leave the cut and color and shave off some bits in the front
  • do nothing because I have some kind of obsession with having long, healthy hair even though it doesn’t look that good

no matter what I have to trim these bangs because I get restless if they get w/in 1/2 inch of my eyebrows
